Alex Meraz might have been introduced to the wide world as a member of the wolf pack, but the New Moon star is also a devoted husband to his wife Kim — and was clearly thrilled about pending fatherhood.

Nowhere is this more apparent than in these incandescent photos taken by Iscah Trujillo, a photographer and friend of the family who shares with Celebuzz. 

“With every pregnancy there is something very beautiful,” Iscah tells Celebuzz. “And they’re so good together.”

“Alex is so happy as a father,” says Iscah. “He loves it. And you can really see the love come through.”

The photoshoot is reminiscent of Demi Moore’s famous Vanity Fair shoot and Britney Spears on the cover of Allure.

It came about when Alex and Kim were visiting the New Mexico ranch Iscah shares with her husband Raoul (Alex’s longtime friend and mentor). Alex and Iscah had collaborated on photo projects and decided to do a shoot with the eight-month pregnant Kim. “They were very comfortable with each other and where they’re at,” says Iscah (Celebuzz has added the black bars for all-ages viewing). 

“We shot a couple of rolls of film at a friend’s house,” says Iscah. “It was natural lighting. We were getting strong shadows, but it works. It made different parts of them stand out.”

The first of these is called “Mythic Love.”

“They look mythic to me as a couple, even when Kim is wearing fake fingernails,” laughs Iscah.

A short time after the photo shoot, their child was born, Somack.

British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower has revealed he will play Volturi leader Caius in The Twilight Saga: New Moon

The 20-year-old, who has appeared in RockNRolla and Sweeney Todd, told the BBC news website that taking part in the vampire series was “very exciting”.

“You’re the first people I’ve told” he said. “Shooting has already started, and I’m going over in June.”

The film, due for release in November, is the second adaptation from author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series.

The role of Caius is key to the plot of New Moon. He forms part of the triumvirate leading the Italian based coven of vampires called the Volturi.

The second book in the series see the gang become a threat to lovers Bella and Edward.

Campbell-Bower said: “I doubt I’ll get the same sort of adulation as Robert – but it’s always nice when people recognise you for your work.”

Taylor Lautner (Jacob in the “Twilight” movies) accepted the Kids’ Choice Award for best book for “Twilight” from Hugh Jackman and Sandra Bullock, who both got slimed just as they announced the winner.

“This is awesome,” Taylor told the screaming crowd. “Thank you, guys.”

He added that “Twilight” creator and author Stephenie Meyer wished she could have been there and that they are shooting “New Moon” now and having a lot of fun.

“You guys are going to love it!”

And, of course, every girl in the auditorium squealed and shrieked.

Robert Pattinson, star of Twilight, New Moon, and Little Ashes is in dire need of a publicist, some fans say. The Twilight Sisterhood has written an article about the dilemma, citing one of the many negative and bizarre headlines that has been encircling Rob over the past few weeks – a few weeks, I mention, which should have been some of his more shining moments in the press with the wild successes which he has been enjoying of late.

Says the Twilight Sisterhood, “I’m so tired of hearing all of this B.S. about Rob. Where the hell is his “representation”? Obviously, manager Nick Frenkel and agent, Stephanie Ritz can’t seem to take care of his P.R. needs themselves. So…maybe they ought to see to it that he finds a good Publicist and make it snappy!” Many fans agree.

It’s one thing to see hyped up gossip about his friendships with co-star Kristen Stewart or with the likes of Camilla Belle, but what has been going on lately, fans say, is just absurd.

With headlines about Rob’s alleged body odor (debunked in his interview yesterday) stretching from the Chicago Sun Times to MTV, it is clear, fans say, that Rob is not being properly represented in the media world. While Pattinson’s fans the globe over don’t buy into the sensational storylines, the coverage continues nonetheless.

Fans shudder to think what will be coming next for Rob as the Little Ashes fallout approaches if he does not get adequate publicity representation. Fears that coverage of the upcoming film and all of its merits will be replaced by hasty concoctions about his sex.uality and his relationship with his co-star in the biopic film about Salvador Dali.

What would a publicist be doing in this situation? Probably preparing to pair Rob up with another potential leading-lady type – the kind that the public might (at least temporarily)t believe (no, not setting him up as Kathy Griffin’s next media bate). Someone older, wiser, more experienced and more confident with the press. Tactical approaches to the foreseeable media aftermath to Little Ashes aside, it appears that the message is clear – someone get this man a publicist and get these convoluted “story”lines out of here!

While Rob is not the only Twilight star to be the center of the recent attacks, since Kristen Stewart has, herself, been no stranger to the bashing fiasco, it is clear that in order to keep the out-going message on track, fans say, something’s got to give.

“Twilight” blew up at the box office and made an impression last week with its DVD release, but the Jonas Brothers revealed they only just caught the vampire film.

“I just recently saw the first one, actually,” Kevin Jonas told Access Hollywood at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. “I watched it on the plane and it was really good. I was blown away.”

In February, the brothers told MTV it would be “really cool” to be on the soundtrack of “New Moon,” the “Twilight” sequel – though they admitted to not having seen the first film at the time. According to Kevin, they’d still like to be involved.

“Who knows,” he told Access. “If they ask us, why not?”

Though the movie may have impressed him, he added that he wouldn’t want to be a vampire himself.

“I wouldn’t go as far as to say that,” Kevin said. “I’m happy where I’m at, so I’ll stick with living.”

And life is pretty good for Kevin these days — the Jonas Brothers recently announced a world tour, and his band of brothers won the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Music Group at last night’s event.
