Robert Pattinson to release album

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

Robert Pattinson fans are in for a treat as their favourite vampire has just revealed that he might be releasing an album.

We all know that Rob is a talented musician and his tracks on the Twilight album blew us away.

He might be concentrating on acting for now but Rob hasn’t turned his back on music completely.

Rob told MoviesOnline: “I might make an album but not through a record company or anything. I’d like to do something independent.

“I don’t care if people buy it or not. I’d just like to have it just for myself so I can work with good musicians and stuff.”

Rob hasn’t written many songs in the past but would probably pen a few for his album.

He says: “All my friends are musicians in London. They’re very talented. My best friend wrote one of the songs on the soundtrack with another friend of mine, this guy Marcus Foster who did Bobby Long.

“I went to school with Marcus. He taught me how to play guitar and stuff. He’s an amazing writer and singer and I thought to help somebody out. I’ve got nothing to lose.”

Black Is The New Black At ‘Twilight’ Event In Japan: Red Carpet Recap

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

Did you know that “Twilight” hasn’t premiered in Japan yet? In fact, the film won’t hit theaters until April 4th, which is after the DVD release here in the United States! Can you imagine being the last country to receive the film, having to wait almost 5 extra months to experience Bella and Edward’s on-screen chemistry?

Oh! The! Agony!

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner traveled to Japan to promote “Twilight” — not that it needs promotion these days, but Twilighters are Twilighters, and it’s only fair that those in Japan get their chance to see the stars in person.

The trio seemed very coordinated in their dark ensembles. Kristen wore a tight black dress with white detailing on the bottom, all in what looks like leather. That girl always seems to be in leather these days! Robert chose a dark suit over a brown button-down and olive striped tie, all of which doesn’t seem to match but … since when does Robert match, right? And Taylor wore all black: black suit, black shirt, no tie. Very sleek.

TwilightMania.com: Bringing the Twilight Community Together

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized
~
With a massive amount of newborn Twilight related websites launching on the web everyday, Raelynn Coombs, site owner of Twilightmania.com, decided to create a way to join some of them together with a contest.

Memphis, TN, February 26, 2009 –(PR.com)– As with most “communities”, competition is fierce among some of the Twilight sites and Raelynn would like to bring as many as possible together to unite into a friendly Twilight community. “Almost all of us site owners are here for the same reasons. We are all fans of Stephenie Meyer and her Twilight saga and want to provide the other fans with valuable Twilight related information. I just don’t understand why some of these site owners are so rude. Believe me when I say, I have had run-ins with many rude, competitive sites/people just since the four months that my site has been up. I just wish everyone could be friendly, helpful and get along with one another. But sometimes that’s like asking for world peace.”

To start the joining of these friendly communities, TwilightMania.com is hosting a Scavenger Hunt for Edward contest. Twenty-two Twilight websites will be a part of this Scavenger Hunt, with all of them being very cordial and friendly sites to visit.

The contest prizes are great. Astralwerks Records has donated several prizes from the band Blue Foundation including an autographed cd. This is the group that sings Eyes On Fire from the Twilight Soundtrack and also has their own album available titled The Life Of a Ghost. Twifans.com is also donating a bonus prize to the contest. The contest will start on March 1st and clues will be given for 18 days. For more information on the Scavenger Hunt For Edward and all the participating websites, go to
http://twilightmania.com/Blog/page_id=3172 and prepare to go hunting in the Twilight Community to be a winner.

Along with some great contests, TwilightMania.com has daily Twilight news updates, a TwilightMania Elite Topsite for your Twilight site to join, a gallery, a forum and other interesting material. Plus, the forum has just started a book club for those of you who like to read. If you need to promote something (Twilight related of course), just ask. TwilightMania.com is all about helping others.

‘Twilight’: Is Drew Barrymore a candidate to direct third movie, ‘Eclipse’?

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

As Summit Entertainment looks to lock in a director for the third installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse, the company is talking to a select group of directors — including actress-turned-helmer Drew Barrymore, EW has learned. While this news may come as a surprise to some, Barrymore did just finish work on her directorial debut, Whip It! starring Ellen Page. Neither Summit nor Barrymore’s reps would comment for this story.

The Backlash Begins: Does Kristen Stewart Really Think ‘Twilight’ Is A Bad Movie?

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

From George Lucas to Michael Phelps to the Octo-Mom, every famous person has to deal with it at some point: Backlash. But now, as the vitriol begins to boil around Kristen Stewart, we have to wonder: Are the Twilighters being too mean?

The latest brouhaha began brewing when Robert Pattinson showed up to Sunday’s 81st Annual Academy Awards without the “Twilight” leading lady on his arm. As fans know, from the MTV Movie Awards to Comic-Con and various other events throughout 2009, it was extremely rare to see one actor making a publicity appearance without the other nearby. Immediately, rumors began circulation that there was more to KStew’s conspicuous absence than met the eye.

Sure enough, when the 18-year-old’s father John Stewart (no, not that one) showed up on the red carpet, the TV producer was approached by the incomparable Billy Bush. George W.’s cousin asked Kristen’s dad why she wasn’t presenting with RPattz, and his answer was as honest as it was shocking.

He said that Kristen would present at the Oscars, “When it’s a great movie, not just one that makes a lot of money.”

So basically, in addition to revealing the belief of Kristen’s father that “Twilight” is not a great movie, the quote seems to imply that the star agrees with her Dad. Piled on top of this comment is Stewart’s recent interview with “Nylon” magazine in which she referred to the “psychotic situations” and “bullsh—questions” of the “Twilight” promotional tour. Which brings us to the fallout in recent days from the Twilighters.

“Wow!” wrote “popsicle14” in an MTV.com comments section. “She’s the biggest snob in Hollywood.”

“While I can imagine how overwhelming the situation may be, this girl needs to get over herself!” wrote “kris10.” “If it is true she is waiting to be in a ‘good’ movie before she attends the Oscars, she is going to be waiting a looooong time.”

Still, some Twilighters are quick to defend their Bella. “So she swears every now and then…whoopdie do,” a fan named “Ash” said of Stewart’s vernacular. “People don’t have to like her, she isn’t looking for anyone’s approval, as we have seen/heard. She ultimately makes her own decisions. We can’t fault her, cause we DON’T know her…but you should respect her a bit for not being a ‘stereotypical’ young Hollywood actress.”

Demi Lovato Would Love To Sing On ‘New Moon’ Soundtrack

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

The ‘Sonny With a Chance’ star reveals her Team Jacob tendencies

Sure most ladies, if given the opportunity and the talent, would jump at the chance to pen a love song for vampire Edward Cullen. But Demi Lovato isn’t going to restrict herself to just one “Twilight” heartthrob.

The 16-year-old Twilighter and “Sonny With a Chance” star let it slip to MTV News that she might be a fan of Bella’s werewolf pal Jacob (played in the movie by Taylor Lautner). “Edward Cullen — I would write a love song to him,” the singer/actress said, before giddily adding, “Or Jacob Black!”

Lovato also said she’d love the chance to participate in any way possible in “New Moon,” the movie’s hotly anticipated sequel, though she’s sure being on the soundtrack is her best bet. “I think it’d be cool to be in the soundtrack,” she told MTV News. “Maybe, but … it’s like anything that would happen that’d be awesome. I don’t know if I’d make a good vampire or a good werewolf.”

Lovato isn’t the only Disney star who has expressed interest in joining the “Twilight” phenomenon. Earlier this month, the Jonas Brothers expressed interest in working on “New Moon” in some capacity.

“The movie was obviously a huge success, and if they asked us to be a part of [the sequel], that would be great,” Nick Jonas said about the prospect of writing a song for the movie. “It would be really cool.”

Although the guys had yet to see the flick, Joe said, “I have heard it’s a great movie.”

“We’re looking forward to seeing it,” Nick added. “We’ve been a little busy, so it’s kinda hard to get the movies, but we’ll see it.”

“Typically, we’ll get the advance DVDs and watch them on plane rides or something,” Kevin said of the band’s attempts to keep up with Hollywood’s latest hits during their busy touring schedule. “So, hopefully, we’ll do that.”

“New Moon” adds to cast

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

More casting news has come to light today for the upcoming “Twilight” sequel “New Moon.”

Fangoria.com is reporting that Carrier Talent Management has announced that one of its clients, actor Bronson Pelletier, has joined the cast in “a lead role.”

Pelletier’s IMDB credits are limited, but Canadian audiences might recognize him from the show Renegadepress.com. He also appeared on the Discovery Channel series “Dinosapiens.”

According to Fangoria, Carrier Talent released the following statement: “Congratulations to Bronson who scores a lead role in the highly anticipated ‘Twilight’ feature film sequel ‘New Moon’. It’s rumored he will be co-starring with Dakota Fanning.”

It’s unclear the specific role Pelletier will be playing, but since his IMDB page lists him as a Plain Cree native, he probably will portray one of the werewolf cohorts of Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). He looks a bit like what I pictured in my head for young werewolf Seth Clearwater.

“New Moon,” the second book in Stephenie Meyer’s mega-popular “Twilight” series, again follows heroine Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), who is left heartbroken after her vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) leaves over concerns for her safety. Bella takes comfort in her friendship with family pal Jacob Black, a Quileute Indian who, along with other members of his tribe, turns out to be a werewolf.

“New Moon” is set for November release.

Robert Pattinson’s Weekend Love Report

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

It seems as though Tokyo is the perfect place to escape after a weekend of love for Robert Pattinson.

The Twilight star proved quite the busy man over the past few days of Academy Awards celebrations.

On the big night, reports say Pattinson was torn between a raven-haired A list actress and a notorious blonde party girl.

E! Online’s Awful Truth reports that Pattinson was charmed by indie princess Natalie Portman at Vanity Fair’s Oscar bash.

“[Portman] seemed really into him, and went right up to say hello once she spotted him,” a source tells Ted Casablanca. The report goes on to say RPattz sipped whiskey and enjoyed her company.

Conversley, UK paper the Daily Mirror says Pattinson was ravaged by Paris Hilton just hours later at power agent Patrick Whitesell’s private party.

The report says Hilton “dragged” sister Nicky around Whitesell’s Hollywood Hills mansion looking for the actor, then zeroed in and led him to a private garden for conversation.

Radar Online echoes the sentiment, saying Pattz and Paris chatted into the wee hours, before Robert escaped to the airport, Japan-bound.

It’s not all bold names in Pattinson’s heart, however. Celebuzz caught him with an anonymous brunette at the Sunset Tower Hotel just days before awards madness, admiring her midriff.
