Robert Pattinson Sticks Up for Heath Ledger

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

Taking offense to a rude comic’s jokes, Robert Pattinson took a stand at the No on H8 show at The Improv in Hollywood a few weeks back.

According to an Us Weekly report, the 22-year-old teen heartthrob booed a comedian who said, “Here’s my impression of Heath Ledger,” before falling to the ground while faking convulsions.

“Robert and his friend went nuts yelling at him,” a source in the know told Us Weekly. “[Pattinson screamed] f–k you! You suck!”

Despite the “Twilight” hunk’s noticeable shouts, the comic surprisingly failed to recognize that he was being booed by one of the world’s hottest young stars.

The insider added, “The comic didn’t know who it was, but I’m sure he found out later!”

“Twilight” Soundtrack

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

There was one thing besides the movie that die-hard Twilight fans were waiting for this November. On November 4th, the “Twilight” movie soundtrack was released.

To be honest, I felt a little embarrassed pre-ordering the CD. Didn’t obsessed fans do that kind of stuff? Didn’t teens who scream whenever they see a shiny silver Volvo do that stuff? Was I becoming a crazy Twi-hard?

The first song sets the mood for the album. I think Muse’s “Supermassive Black Hole,” which played during the baseball scene, is the best song on the CD. The way its fast-paced rhythm matches the singer’s slow but cool voice makes you want to play ball in the rain. Okay, maybe not, but you get what I mean.

Then there is the band that I believe fits perfectly with the Twilight phenomenon. Paramore has always been a top contender for a spot on this album, and it’s not surprising why: their music just screams teen angst. And their song, “Decode,” in my opinion, sets the tone for the entire movie.

Stephenie Meyer’s Successful Year

Author: TM-admin  :  Category: Uncategorized

From Stephenie Meyer.com……

Since 2008 is almost over, I thought I would take a minute to congratulate Stephenie on a successful year. A lot of very exciting things have happened this year, and it has been fun for those of us who are fans of the writing to follow along.

Several major media outlets have also noted the success, and (as long as I am posting something that Stephenie probably wouldn’t approve of) I thought I would post a few of the links for those of you who haven’t heard about the recognition and praise that she has received for the year of 2008:

OK, I know that the AZ Republic may not be as big as TIME, but it is a very cool experience to be able to open up the paper and be surprised by an article about a family member, so I thought I would include it. Anyway, congrats, Stephenie, and thanks to everyone for joining us during this crazy and exciting year. We wish you all the best in 2009!

Di ko alam ako pala magdi-direct ng ‘Twilight,’” director Cathy Garcia Molina curtly replied when Buzzbox asked her if she is opting for a localized version of the blockbuster vampire novel. The buzz is that ABS-CBN had acquired the rights to the novel for US$1 million and that Cathy has been selected to direct it with Rayver Cruz as Edward Cullen and Shaina Magdayao as Isabella Swan.

The stars of Twilight, Nikki and Kristen are best friends in real life.

In the movie they don’t get on well, but in real life the two young actresses are great friends, “My friends are actors. My best friend is Nikki Reed,” said Kristen in the magazine Blackbook.

“My boyfriend, Michael Angarano is also an actor,” continued Kristen. “I never thought I’d go out with an actor but he is my best friend. I’ve known him since I was 13. We play guitar together and go to the movies.”
